Ballet

Absolute Beginner Ballet
Beg/Int BalletBallet is a classical dance that can be mastered on its own or can be a base for many other dance forms. The technique and discipline learned in ballet will set dancers up for a strong foundation in their day to day life. Classes will focus on alignment, strength, and a traditional class layout.
Dress code:
Comfortable fitted athletic clothes, ballet shoes or socks. -
Contemporary

Adult ContemporaryA unique popular style that blends modern, jazz, and personal style that seems to break the rules of technique. Dancers will learn elements of different techniques to move in and out of the floor and across the space with ease. Focus will be put on strength, dynamic movement, fluidity, and breath.

Beginner Tap
Intermediate TapWith tap shoes on your feet, learn how to articulate sounds, make syncopated rhythms and discover the history of tap dancers that come before you. Tap dance will bring out your inner musician and expand your knowledge of terminology. Delve deep into proper tap technique while listening to classic fun music.
Dress code:
Comfortable dance attire, no skirts or dresses, and tap shoes. -
Hip Hop

Beginner Hip HopHip hop's increasing popularity has muddied true street style. We are bringing back foundations and funky movement so dancers are informed on where this dance comes from. We will bring back culture and style into the studio as dancers learn breaking and other classics.
Dress code:
Comfortable dance attire and sneakers. -
Highland

Adult ScottishIn this high-intensity class, dancers will discover the technique and history of traditional Scottish Highland dance. The training builds endurance, strength, and coordination, making it an excellent workout for dancers and non-dancers alike! Side effects may include increased energy and an unexpected fondness for bagpipes.
Dress code:
Comfortable, fitted athletic clothes, ghillies (Scottish or Irish soft dance shoes) or other supportive dance shoes such as ballet or jazz shoes. Knee high socks optional.

Functional Fitness
This class is focused on exercises that will help our bodies stay healthy and feel good in day to day life. Work on functional strength and flexibility so you can continue to bend, reach, lift, push, pull, and play. This is a medium intensity class that may utilize weights in addition to body weight/mobility exercises and stretching.

Release & Recover
Reset and relax your body and mind with gentle movements and stretching. In this class we will aim to release tension and strengthen healthy movement pathways while listening to what our bodies need. We may utilize yoga and mat pilates in this low intensity class.

JamFit Dance
JamFit was designed by Rosa during the pandemic as it was important to continue creating safe, welcoming and positive spaces for people to move together even through a screen. This class is based in dance cardio so it will keep you moving but unlike other formats it also embraces strength focused movement and core stability, all while jamming to high energy playlists that motivate you to keep going! No dance experience needed, great for all ages, genders and skill levels. JamFit is just cardio that feels like a party, it’s all fun vibes on the dance floor!

This class will help reduce dancer injury, improve dancer longevity, and enhance performance. Using techniques from physical therapy, adults will work towards mobility and sustainability. Learn to move your body in an informed way.
